Yes. The smartphones Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus (or S8 +) can be charged wirelessly using a Qi-compatible charger (our recommendation: Samsung Certified Fast Charger). However, while wireless charging is very convenient, the charging time is longer than with a conventional USB charger.
Using normal wireless charging, it takes about 5 hours to fully charge the S8 (3.000 mAh battery capacity) and 5.5 hours to charge the S8 Plus (3.500 mAh). Fast wireless charging (which has to be enabled in the smartphone’s settings first) takes about 2.5 hours. Quick Charge via USB will take less than 2 hours.
