No. The battery of the mirrorless Canon EOS M100, M200, and M50 can not be charged in camera over USB. To charge the battery you have to take it out of the camera and put it in the provided charger:

The charger requires a wall socket; it can not be powered over USB or from a power bank.
Canon quotes the following (rather depressing) numbers for battery life:
If you take lots of videos the battery will run out even faster; consider at least one spare battery.
Canon’s own LP-E12 has a whopping MSRP of around $50; it’s our experiance that cheap clones work as well at a fraction of the price, example.
