Samsung Galaxy S10 officially introduced

Samsung Galaxy S10 Comparison

After weeks of leaks, the official presentation of Samsung’s 2019 flagship models was picture-perfect anti-climactic.

This year, Samsung’s top-of-the-line “S” series will consist of three models, Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+ (or S10 Plus). S10 and S10+ are mostly identical, save for the larger screen, larger battery, and larger memory of the Plus-model which also brings an additional depth camera to the front (note elongated hole in display on picture above).

In all other aspects, they are identical:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (US)
  • 6-12 GB RAM, 128 GB – 1 TB ROM (expandable by max. 512 GB, hybrid slot)
  • 1.440p Super AMOLED display, HDR10 enabled
  • USB-C, NFC, headphone jack
  • Quick Charge, wireless charging, reverse charging
  • Triple camera on the back (12, 26, 52mm FL equivalent)
  • Ultrasonic fingerprint reader beneath the display
  • Android 9 “Pie”, Samsung’s One UI

Prices begin at $899.99 (US) for the S10, $999.99 (US) for the S10+.

The S10e features the same processor, but comes with a smaller display (1.080p), a dual camera on the back and a more conventional optical fingerprint reader in the Home button.

Prices for the S10e begin at $749.99 (US)
